2020 Joe Hurdle Top Dog Award

The Joe H. Hurdle Top Dog Award is a memorial to honor Mr. Joe Hurdle from Holly Springs, MS who judged the National Championship for many years.  It is given to the owner of the dog that acquired the most points each year in qualifying for the National. The Pins are hand-crafted by David Kelley of Kelley Jewelers, Somerville, TN.  We have a walnut plaque in the Manor House that has a list of all of the previous winners of this award.  The Winner of the 26th Annual Joe H. Hurdle Top Dog Award  is Valiant, pointer male, owned by Jay McKenzie, Eureka, KS, handled by Randy Anderson, Vinita, OK, with 1,996  points.

Bobby McAlexander and his grandson Bobby were on hand to present the award to Valiant's handler Randy Anderson and owner Jay McKenzie.
